Our valves are T-shaped, cast aluminum diverters that take water in one port and deliver it left or right to the other two ports. The butterfly valve activates through a motor in the controller. All valves have a male port at the entry and female ports at the two exits.

We have four valve sizes – 6 inches, 8 inches, 10 inches, and 12 inches – ranging in weight from 25 to 55 pounds. All controllers can be used on any size P&R valve.

 

Select the Appropriate Size

Valve size refers to the outside diameter of the hard pipe used to connect to the valve. If you are unsure of what valve size is correct for your equipment, we can go over the specifications and help you choose the right ones.

 

Use the Right Pressure for Best Results

Volume handling capacity of each size valve will vary with water pressure and friction losses downstream of the valve. All valves work best at low pressures (not exceeding 15 psi).
